Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the details you give us when you join the Billabee waiting list at getbillabee.com. It covers the waiting list only, not the Billabee software itself, which will have its own privacy policy when the beta opens.
Who we are
Billabee is invoicing software being built in Australia. You can contact us about this notice or your details at hello@getbillabee.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The option you chose: independent support worker, plan manager or something else.
- When you joined, the version of the wording you agreed to, and whether we have sent your confirmation and beta emails.
We do not ask for your name, and we do not store your IP address. We never ask for participant or client details. The website sets no tracking or advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
- To send one email confirming you are on the list.
- To send one email when the beta opens, with a link to register.
- To give waiting-list members their 14 days free: when you register with the same email address, we use it to apply the free period.
- If you reply to one of our emails, to answer you.
We do not sell, rent or share your details for anyone else's marketing.
Who helps us
We use these service providers, which process your details on our behalf:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores the waiting list and runs the check that stops automated sign-ups (Turnstile).
- Resend delivers our emails.
Both are based in the United States and may store or process your details outside Australia.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after we send the beta email, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
Leaving the list, access and correction
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Using it deletes your email address from the list straight away. You can also email hello@getbillabee.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
Questions or complaints
Email hello@getbillabee.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
